In My Mailbox #3

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren.

I’m working hard to catch up with my massive pile of library books, but I couldn’t resist picking these two up this week. I’m a bit afraid to read The Fault In Our Stars since by all accounts it’s a MAJOR tearjerker, but everyone says it’s also amazing.

  1. I want to read TFIOS also, but I’m in the same boat – A little afraid, but I’ve heard amazing things about it! It Chooses You, sounds really interesting! I just added it to my TBR list! = )

  2. I am *terrified* of books that make me cry. I have The Fault in Our Stars, but I KNOW I won’t be reading it any time soon because EVERYONE and their brother says they cried buckets while reading it! Now…despite saying this, I did check out A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness from the library this week, which is also (from what I’ve heard) a tearjerker. Why? Because it’s Patrick Ness and he’s awesome and the book was brand new and I couldn’t resist being the first person to check it out.

    But I’m TERRIFIED, I won’t lie!! 😉
